Yankees Tie World Series With Dodgers In Dramatic Win

In the sixth game of the World Series the New York Yankees defeated the Brooklyn Dodgers 3 to 2 to even the series at three wins apiece. Yogi Berra and Mickey Mantle hit homers for the Yankees, while Duke Snider connected twice for Brooklyn. Vic Raschi's key single and a defensive miscue helped decide the contest as Raschi earned the win and Mantle added a late homer to seal the verdict.

Ten Hurt In Highway Wreck At Williams Junction
