Motorcycle crash leaves rider critically injured at Clinton Parkway
A 30 year old man was critically injured in a late Friday crash at the Clinton Parkway and Lake Pointe Drive intersection. emergency responders rushed to the scene around 11 50 p m a helicopter aided transport to the University of Kansas Hospital. The rider reportedly sped past vehicles and was thrown from the motorcycle after hitting a 4 foot wall. Witnesses said he wore a helmet, which was found 20 yards away. Intersections reopened after about 2 30 a m Saturday as Lawrence police continue the investigation.
