Balloons, ballots mix at Albuquerque fiesta crowd
At the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta, volunteers for Barack Obama aim to register 30,000 voters in 30 days while Greenpeace launches an Earth globe balloon to urge action on global warming. Fiesta officials keep campaigning off the launch field as 800,000 to 850,000 people attend the nine day event with over 600 balloons lifting off for the mass ascension and a new cross country gas balloon race starting Monday.
