FBI informer Gary Rowe dies at 64 in Savannah
Gary Rowe, aka Thomas Neal Moore, an FBI informer who infiltrated the Ku Klux Klan in the 1960s and helped convict three Klansmen for the murder of civil rights worker Viola Liuzzo, died of a heart attack on May 25 in Savannah. His death was confirmed after a TV crew learned of it. he had lived under federal witness protection since 1965.
