County Rural Life Group to Name Its Meet Delegates
Douglas county and Willany Roeshill Nel son REL will select delegates for the annual rural life conference in Kansas City October 18 and 19 in connection with the American Royal show. Luncheons are planned and community drive contributors help fund Christmas activities and fireworks. The Fourth of July program at Memorial stadium includes a fireworks display with flag ceremony, education of youth, and draws crowds from surrounding areas for business and town benefits. Early English millers stopped windmills to signal lunch.
