Senate to Recess Delays End of Session Until Mid November
Senate Democrats say a two week recess planned for later this month will not push back adjournment. They shifted the target to mid November as House work on the defense appropriations bill continues into next month. Conference committees work to reconcile funding measures before adjournment.
