Hearing Slated On Drug Charge In Lawrence
Omnibus hearings for three Lawrence residents charged with illegal sale of cocaine were continued until Thursday. Timothy M Forcade 24 Ellen Forcade 22 and Christopher S Angulo 23 were arrested Sept 21 by federal narcotics agents and Lawrence police. Angulo posted bond while the Forcades remain jailed in the Kansas City area bond set at 15000 each. They allegedly sold eight ounces of cocaine for 5000 on July 8 to federal agents in Lawrence.

Accidental shooting dies in Wichita apartment
Police say 23 year old David R. Brown was fatally wounded in an apparent accidental shooting in Wichita. Brown was visiting an apartment with 23 year old Michael E. Holt who said they were handling a pistol thought to be unloaded when it discharged. Brown died on the way to a hospital.
