Mrs Martha C Metlewski, 80, longtime Tonganoxie resident since 1904, died Monday at her home. She was born October 20, 1879 near Copenhagen Denmark and was the widow of August Metlewski who served as a Union Pacific Railroad section foreman in Tonganoxie.

New York officials say a Guatemalan diplomat Mauricio Rosal age 47 and three accomplices were arrested in Manhattan in a $1 million bail case.
