Deaths and Funerals in Lawrence Area and Beyond
Obituaries list Mrs. Gertie Robinson of Peoria Arizona died Sunday after seven years of illness. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Presbyterian Church in Peoria. Survivors include her husband Charlies and two sisters, Mrs. O C Langston and Miss Lillian Addis. Also noted is the death of Mrs A A Glockengieser, mother of Mrs Ralph Russell of Mission. Mrs Russell had lived in Lawrence until two years ago. Burial services for Glockengieser were in Doni. George T Marshall, a former Lawrence resident and WWI veteran, died recently. Funeral services were held Tuesday in Colby where Marshall had moved years ago. He was native to Concordia and worked for Lawrence Paper Co. He is survived by his wife Eden and other family.
