A major blaze at the Farnum Street theater in Omaha racks the five story structure during a New York production. Five alarms, roof and wall collapse, and one fireman killed accompany chaotic evacuation as crews battle the flames and the audience escapes amid falling brick and smoke. The Angier Loan & Trust Co owned venue and the company’s wardrobe is lost with the fire.
Figures of the opening were not fully compiled but show that about 1150,00 persons applied for certificates to open the Sisip Wasiisirax.
