ACLU launches Let People Vote campaign in Kansas
The ACLU unveiled a nationwide Let People Vote initiative at the Lied Center in Lecompton led by Kris Kobach and Dale Ho. Speakers argued for offensive voting rights expansion, citing North Carolina ID rollbacks and Trump election integrity concerns. The campaign aims to repeal Kobach policies, broaden early voting, allow election day registration, and streamline advance ballot applications.
