Final approval sought for public safety building project in Lawrence
Douglas County Commission may sign off Tuesday on a 26,275 square foot public safety building near the jail and a 57,000 square foot JLEC addition downtown. The plan, tied to sheriff office and 911 duties, totals about 74 million dollars with construction from 2025 to 2026 and phased moving and renovation through 2027.
