Middle school choir to honor WWI armistice centennial
The Liberty Memorial Central Middle School seventh and eighth grade choirs will stage a free 7 p.m. Oct. 15 performance in the auditorium with the Lawrence High School a cappella choir also featured. The event marks the armistice centennial on Nov. 11 and includes a commissioned mixed-voice version of In Flanders Fields by Timothy Takach.
