Soroptimist District Conference Planned in Kansas City
Northern District director Miss Virginia Lawrence will preside over the American Soroptimist International Federation district meeting this weekend at the Town House Kansas City Kansas. A $1 500 scholarship will be presented to Miss Johnna Beth Forssberg KU 1937 graduate in bacteriology and medical studies. Freda Shirley Kansas City Kan governor will give the award. The banquet will be at the Johnson County Community Center with KMABC TV's Mrs Bea Johnson speaking on her Russia trip. Sunday breakfast speaker is Mrs Mary Alice Flint. Attendees come from western Missouri Kansas and Missouri with host clubs in Kansas City and Shawnee Mission.
