A severe tornado swept west of Wantonia Wisconsin damaging eighty rods by six miles. Many houses barns and a grist mill were destroyed and about a dozen people injured including Mrs Ison Plate Mrs Bernske and Levi Royce. Property losses exceed $50 000 with no fatalities reported.
In Euranta Sept 30 a severe rainstorm drenched streets and ravines. A violent cyclone followed, moving northeast from west of the city. Four people died along the track and about twenty buildings were wrecked with many injured. Additional devastation reported up to fifteen miles northeast.
