In Columbia Missouri led 6-0 after a first halfpunting fest and a Fowler one-yard TD. Late in the third quarter Wilson to Spurgeon connected for a 40 yard pass and a Kansas touchdown with an extra point. Many punts and drives featured cross-field plays as Lincoln and McAdams provided long kicks and key fumbles.
In a rain muddled clash, Missouri and Kansas battled to a 0-0 score at halftime. Fowler and Lincoln led Missouri with multiple gains, including a 6 yard series and a 12 yard end run, while Kansas stymied several Missouri drives with interceptions and disciplined line play. The Tigers later surged to a 9-0 lead on Lincoln’s 48 yard field, after Kansas defenses stiffened and penalties mounted on both sides.

University campus unusually quiet with most students at home for Thanksgiving. Those remaining were careful not to disturb the campus. Spooner library offers limited study hours while all departmental libraries are closed.

Rollins Field Mo Nov 30 The Missouri Tigers meet Kansas Jayhawks in their 31st annual battle. Crowds filed in despite drizzle as bands, color guards, and student squads moved across the field. Twelve thousand in stands as Kansas prepares to take the field.
Columbia Missouri hosts a massive homecoming as thousands arrive by train from Kansas City and St Louis for the Kansas Missouri clash. Rollins Field seats overflow with 8 000 to 9 000 attendees for a mass meeting featuring President J C Jones and University graduates. The freshmen burned caps and a homecoming parade plus cornerstone laying for the Missouri Memorial union building conclude the morning events.

Washington in a rotation order with N B Gaskill ending his term tomorrow Victor Murdock of Kansas will automatically become chairman and John F Nugent of Idaho will become vice chairman succeeding Mr Murdock in a one year term move announced today

Los Angeles November 30 Arthur C. Burch and chief counsel Paul Schenck hailed last night's jury deadlock in Burchs third trial for the murder of J Belton Kennedy as the equivalent of an acquittal. The jurors, after polling, said there was absolutely no chance of agreement, prompting Burch to laugh and mark Thanksgiving as a happy day.
William Bross Lloyd and six radical associates walk free from Joliet penitentiary after eight days of to one to five year sentences. Governor Len Small commuted their terms. Chancellor Lindley spoke simply on thoughtfulness and heritage, urging care for the less fortunate as the Social Service League collected an offering for the poor.
Tulsa November 30 Clifford W King assistant attorney general arrived to open an investigation into the dismissal of ban on prohibition by County Attorney W Seaver. King said the people oppose prohibition and federal action will proceed. Seaver explained he will proceed in his own manner until term ends.
