McCollum Hall Imploded in Spectacular Kansas Campus Display
Crowds gathered around the Kansas University campus to witness the demolition of McCollum Hall. At 9 a.m. police siren blasts signaled the 10 story building imploded in under 20 seconds, leaving a plume of dust and a rubble pile. Project manager Kristin Werp and Steve Tripp of Midland Wrecking praised the controlled implosion as “a beautiful shot.”
