Kobach to renew bid for prosecuting election fraud
Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach said he will revive a proposal to give his office the power to prosecute election fraud cases next year. He failed to win legislative approval in 2013 and 2015, though Republicans then controlled the Legislature. Kobach won a second term with 59 percent of the vote and previously pushed voter ID and citizenship proof requirements.
