KU fans brace for big game day in Lawrence
KU fans expect a packed Saturday with early festivities at home and nearby bars before a 7 p.m. kickoff televised on ABC. Wayne Martin of Wayne & Larrys Sports Bar plans extra staff and seating, while Jeffersons Restaurant and Red Lyon Tavern prepare for crowds and specials. Downtown Lawrence hosts an outdoor watch party with food, beer, and security, starting at 6 p.m. for those without tickets.
