Riverside closing eyed as Lawrence board acts

Lawrence school board likely will vote December 2 to close Riverside School at year end with possible further consolidations if Gov Graves trims education funding. Superintendent Weseman will propose redrawing boundaries to move Riverside students to Pinckney Woodlawn Deerfield or Langston Hughes, while options for transfers extend the deadline for families.

Beaux Arts U S post office added to National Register
