Preservation group wary of Fritzel role in settlement funds
The Lawrence Preservation Alliance objects to Thomas Fritzel having a say in how settlement money is spent for the 1908 house moved at 10th and Indiana. Commissioners note prior compromises failed and discuss a proposed donation while seeking clearer city expectations and lessons for the developer. A city Planning Department review approved dismantling but warned reassembly would differ from the original design.
