Club Founded Almost Fifty Years Ago Has Two Charter Members
On the twenty fifth of next February the members of the Year Round club will celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of their founding. Mrs Annie J Prentiss recalls 1876 when a group formed the Friends in Council, with about fifteen charter members including Mrs J M Wood and others. The club chose no name initially, finally christened No Name Club with colors of the flag and the motto Study to be what you wish to seem. Members meet to study United States history, with topics now Mexico and Australia, and assign roll calls. Honorary members include J S Boughton and others.
