The Rev J G Reaser professor of the Bible at Wilson College Chambersburg Pa died Sunday from paralysis aged 80. He was active in the fossil war period in the Presbyterian Church in Kansas.
Lew KF L Washington a color ed boy evangelist impressed a crowd at Warren Street Baptist Church last night. Though young and without formal schooling he shows remarkable memory and can repeat word for word passages from the Bible.
Mr N B Asher learns of the death of his brother Mr W Asher in Washington on November 6. The burial occurred at Arlington cemetery. Mr Asher was well known in Lawrence and the news will be received with regret.

Mrs Henriatta Reatz mother of Mrs BF W Read died at home on New Jersey street Sunday evening at age 65 from stomach trouble. Born in Germany, she came to the United States in 1854 and to Lawrence later. Survived by two daughters and four sons, funeral Wednesday at 2:30 pm at German M E church with burial beside husband in Oak Ann. Also survived by two brothers and two sisters. Active member of German M B church.
