City Hall released the 2015 Retail Market Report by the Lawrence-Douglas County Planning Department showing 82 downtown Lawrence businesses fit the retail category. That total compares with 116 in 2012 and 126 at a 2006 peak, though more than 82 firms operate downtown overall.
