City raises trash routes to run once next week
Public works director George Williams says Thanksgiving and next Friday are holidays for city employees. Residential pickups will occur Monday and Tuesday with the regular schedule otherwise. Some business waste will be collected Friday and the landfill open Friday and Nov. 26. Crews also install new downtown Christmas decorations this week.

The five day card playing fundraiser for Project Santa ends at noon Saturday. Robinson gym expansion bid date announced for KU project
