National Geographic unveils cast of 40-foot SuperCroc
National Geographic hosts an exp display of a 40 foot Sarcosuchus imperator replica nicknamed SuperCroc at Explorers Hall in Washington. The model uses real fossils from Niger with plaster bones to show an ambush predator weighing over 17000 pounds. Researchers highlight its upward eye sockets and underwater hunting posture. The exhibit runs in Washington until January 2 with a second model opening in Los Angeles County and closing January 27.
