Wichita approves Bombardier incentives
The Wichita City Council approved a $1 million grant as part of a $2 million federal economic development package to support Bombardier Learjet’s $52.7 million expansion. The plan aims to add about 400 new jobs initially, with more than 1,000 total jobs tied to Learjet 85 work, three new buildings, expanded flight testing, and a shift of engineering and IT work to Wichita.
