Lecompton city attorney Ed Nichols says no conflicts of interest or state budget violations were found in the three way contract for the zoning project with Douglas County and planner Dick McClanathan. Kansas Attorney General’s office continues its review and will pursue any possible improprieties. The zoning ordinance debate remains a topic at tonight’s City Council meeting at 7 p.m. in the Community Building.
