Clemency Sought By 17 Prisoners
Seventeen Wyandotte County inmates have applied for executive clemency. Among them eight are murder defendants including Lee Andrews and Earl Wilson who face death sentences for patricide and for kidnapping and raping a Kansas City girl. County officials may file recommendations or objections at the December 29 hearing in Topeka, the governor’s pardon and parole office. Docking’s term ends in January with John Anderson Jr. succeeding him.
