Robbery at Sanctuary Club Leaves KU Student Dead
A Kansas University student is dead after an early morning confrontation with a robber at the Sanctuary Club on West Seventh. The assailant, who demanded money, fled southward after taking two female employees at gunpoint and seizing two men in the parking area as hostages. Witnesses say the student was killed when he refused to lie down outside during the escape.
