Retailers face turnover as holiday hiring climbs
Retailers prepare for the holidays with temporary workers as 21 percent of retail staff plan a job change this quarter. Meanwhile 49 percent of hiring managers will add staff by year’s end. Pay concerns and few career advances drive discontent, with workload increases noted by about 62 percent and 44 percent saying they do too much.
