Fire roars through downtown Kansas City eight story building

Highway Accident Injures Wellsville Couple En Route to Eusora
Mr and Mrs C A Kazmaier of Wellsville were in a serious crash Saturday near Eudora when a tie rod failed on their 1933 Plymouth. Lawton area man faces death or life in murder case
A 12 man advisory jury was seated by Judge Hugh Means to aid in deciding whether Earnest Fenstemaker 25 should receive the death penalty or life imprisonment for the murder of Ella Bachelor 61 at their farm home near Lawrence.
