Officers Are Assigned to Leavenworth School
Two hundred twenty five United States army officers were assigned to attend the command and general staff school at Fort Leavenworth for the 1938 39 course. Sheriff Fred Vogler and Deputy Collins arrested Loren Herman and Huldah Herman of Topeka for possession and transportation of intoxicating liquor after a late night chase on county roads.
