Ramirez rejects Tribe's $119 million offer
Manny Ramirez spurns Cleveland seven year 119 million offer rejecting the Indians bid to re sign him and pushing Ramirez onto the open market as negotiations continue. Ramirez agent Jeff Moorad says both sides will keep communication open while exploring alternatives and Ramirez could attract interest from the New York Yankees Seattle Mariners and others as he tests free agency. The Indians note the offer is the largest in baseball history but Moorad expects a broad market for his client with discussions already planned with two unidentified teams.
