Shanghai reports French authorities in Indo China have banned imports of war supplies for China, including trucks and parts, in a bid to reduce friction with Japan. The coroner cites a small caliber pistol used from above. The victim registered as Poudah Mannering of Yuma Aziz.

Ankara Nov 11 Gen Ismet Inonu was elected by the national assembly to succeed the late Kamal Ataturk as president of Turkey. Inonu , aged 58, known as the military bookkeeper, served 13 of 15 years as Ataturk’s premier and was Ataturk’s right hand man in rousing the reform era. He steered westernization, railroads, and a strong armed force and is described as a stern ruler with a talent for diplomacy and little appetite for social life.
The 870 pound black Angus shown by Johnny Simon of Sedgwick sold to Phillips Petroleum for 624.20 dollars at 66 cents a pound. The grand champion lamb shown by Marvin McClure of Walton brought 55 cents a pound and the grand champion hog by Gail Woodard of Maize sold at 15 cents a pound.

The report notes poor winter wheat condition except in favored areas and a grain sorghum crop of 15 070 000 bushels, above the 10 year average.
