Judge halts NSA phone data for two plaintiffs
A federal judge ruled the NSA must stop collecting the phone records of two Americans who challenged the program. The order limits relief to the two plaintiffs and does not end mass collection for millions of other Americans. The broader mass surveillance is set to end on Nov 29. Snowden disclosures in 2013 sparked the program. A manhunt was underway Monday across New York City for a suspect.
