Eudoran Teen Hospitalized After Ninth Street Crash
A 19 year old Eudoran, Arlis G. Greer, was hospitalized after a two car collision in the 1500 block West Ninth Street. He was listed in good condition at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Greer attempted to pass another vehicle, struck the rear, crashed into a light pole, injuring his face. Driver Mabel E. O'Brien, 48, of 527 Elm Street, was in the other car. Estimated damages were $600 for Greer and $100 for O'Brien.

Mrs Nellie Colman 66 of Route 1 died Friday night at her home after living in the Lawrence area most of her life. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rumsey Funeral Home with Rev Paul Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. She was born July 25 1896 in Onargo Illinois and was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church. Survivors include daughter Waneta Willis Route 1 son Clare J Colman Springdale Connecticut four brothers Crider VanNeste Foster VanNeste Zeb VanNeste and Harry VanNeste seven grandchildren. She was the daughter of H G Van Neste prominent Grant Township farmers.
