Wirths had earlier admitted an attempt to burglarize another area home and later said the attack did not occur during the early morning hours of Oct. 30.

Navy Ship Saves 4 Airmen After Jump in Pacific
A Navy seaplane tender Floyds Bay rescued four of five airmen who bailed from a stricken Flying Boxcar 650 miles east of Honolulu.
