AccuWeather forecasts show a broad rain pattern with spotty showers reaching the upper Gulf Coast and drenching rain along coastal Texas. Rain will push onshore in coastal Northwest regions, with a mix of rain and possible showers elsewhere today.
Douglas County will hire Landplan Engineering for final design services on the fairgrounds improvement project valued at 65 million. A 19 year old Lawrence man was booked into the Douglas County Jail Tuesday night on suspicion of aggravated indecent liberties with a child. He is held on a $75,000 bond. No additional details were available Wednesday.
