Two juveniles escaped from a Topeka facility and stole a car. After a high speed pursuit from Topeka to Lawrence, Law enforcement set a roadblock on U S Highway 24 at Tee Pee Junction. A Lawrence officer fired twice, hitting the car ahead, and a second officer blew out the right front tire to stop the pursuit. The car suffered about 100 dollars in damage.
