Kevin the 17 year old tortoise from Tallgrass Parrot Sanctuary in Lecompton escaped when a burglar cut the gate chain. He wandered about 5 miles to a farmer’s soy bean field over more than two weeks before being found. Sanctuary caretaker Karl Marie confirmed the return.
