Kids Voting in Douglas County sees surge in mock election turnout
Douglas County students in 28 schools cast mock votes in a nationwide Kids Voting program. Over 6,700 minors participated, nearly doubling the 2012 turnout. Results show Paul Davis leading governor race, Greg Orman ahead in senate, Lynn Jenkins winning district, and Boog Highberberger defeating J Douglas Robinson in House 46 by 16 points.
