Pendletons Earn Top 4 H Honor At Banquet
The five Pendleton family and two long-time 4-H veterans received the top 4-H Achievement Banquet honors at the Kansas Union Ballroom. More than 700 attended as Douglas County Bankers Association members sponsored the event. Mary Winter and Mark Schaake received 10 year participant trophies, while LanDe Browning, Linda Cleland, Marleen Dodder, Mike Johnston, Ann Seymour and Cathy Silvers earned key awards for the 1974-75 year.

Dyche Museum Topeka zoo trips and fossil field program announced
Two 8 to 10 year old programs at the Dyche Museum of Natural History mark fall events. Deb Bennett will lead a fossil field trip 9 am to noon Saturday, while Dan Adams guides a Topeka zoo tour 9 am to 1 pm December 6. Registration via the museum education office.
