John Carr Convicted of Vote Fraud in Kansas City Kan
John Carr a Democrat and former Wyandotte county township road supervisor was convicted by a district court jury of irregularities in the 1936 general election. The state charged 300 ballots were marked the night before and the box with them substituted before counting. Carr’s bond was set at 2000 dollars and a new trial motion is pending.
