County and City Plan Shared West Sixth Street Design Costs
Douglas County commissioners and Lawrence city officials will split design costs for widening West Sixth Street. Designers will begin work to refine estimates on the 1.25 mile project from Wakarusa Drive to the South Lawrence Trafficway, with total project cost around 6.5 million and design costs near 400 thousand.
