Armistice Parade Planned as Big Local Feature
Gen Wilder S Metcalf outlined partial plans for the Memorial Stadium dedication on November 11. Four bands will march in a parade including the University of Kansas, University of Nebraska, Haskell Institute and Fraternal Air Union bands. Kidnapper Held In Michigan Case Of 11 Year Old Girl
Raymond E. Wilson of Grand Rapids pleaded guilty to kidnapping 11 year old Rosalie Shanty. Judge John Vanderwerp sentenced him to 35 to 40 years in the state penitentiary at Marquette. The girl was found wandering in swamp country about 100 miles north in Matisee county and remains in a highly nervous condition.
