LiveWell EatWell promotes healthy options from Lawrence restaurants
WellCommons hosts the LiveWell EatWell Restaurant Challenge highlighting local Lawrence restaurants and stores offering healthy menu choices. Trish Unruh of the Health Department notes taste and health, with a logo for items like fruits, vegetables, lower fat methods, smaller portions, side sauces, and fried-side substitutions. Since January, 14 restaurants joined, with nominations open to the public.
