Cicada Song From Lawrence Bands Reflects 17-Year Cycle
Two local groups The Greenhouse Culture Band and CS Luxem collaborated at Lawrence Public Library Sound Vision studio to produce an original song about periodic cicadas. Written and recorded in about four hours, Christopher Luxem led the composition with vocals and guitar while acknowledging the rush brought both energy and challenges.
