Lawrence real estate market cools slightly as April listings rise
In April Lawrence had 150 homes for sale, up from 119 in April 2024 and 106 in April 2023, while the market remains seller-leaning with four median days on market. Through April, Lawrence year-to-date home sales totaled 274, up 4.6 percent, and new construction stayed historically low with only one new home sold. The Lawrence real estate industry has sold 978 million in 2024, and KC metro prices rise faster, with half of KC homes at 305000 or less versus Lawrence at 319000 or less.
