Girod named KU chancellor designate amid medical leadership record
Dr Doug Girod, executive vice chancellor at KU Medical Center and veteran otolaryngologist, was chosen by the Kansas Board of Regents as KU's 18th chancellor to take office July 1. He has led statewide outreach efforts and helped expand KU Health System partnerships while emphasizing a student centered educational mission.
